givenchy

Givenchy Pre-Fall 2019 / voguerunway.com

Another Pre-Fall 2019 lookbook that is very aesthetically pleasing. Givenchy with the lead of Clare Waight Keller has been so far very interesting, although this collection is, as usually the pre-collections are, highly commercial. But everything is forgiven, when the location is my favorite architectural spot in Paris, Maison La Roche, and the looks have been put together by Suzanne Koller. Also I’m trendspotting some half and half color blocking as seen above and at Calvin Klein 205W39NYC.

Hugo Boss SS2019 / voguerunway.com

Tibi SS19 / voguerunway.com

Trendspotting (if that can be said since NYFW is just repeating already ongoing trends..) nylon windbreaker fabrics in few shows. The material looks fresh in the more feminine silhouettes, such as in the long dress from Tibi.

Junya Watanabe Man SS2019 / voguerunway.com

Alyx SS2019 / voguerunway.com

Trendspotting various bodybags and vests for SS2019, which are referencing back to Helmut Lang in the 90’s.

Marni AW2018 / voguerunway.com

Balenciaga AW2018 / voguerunway.com

Trendspotting balaclavas for AW2018. I’m very excited every time for practical trends and could definitely imagine myself in head-to-toe brown with that Marni knit on. Besides Marni and Balenciaga, balaclavas were also seen at Calvin Klein, Gucci, Chanel and Preen, just to mention a few.

Céline AW2018 / voguerunway.com

Loewe AW2018 / voguerunway.com

Bottega Veneta AW2018 / voguerunway.com

Ellery coat, PFW street style / unknown

Trendspotting furry and fluffy cuffs and collars for the next autumn. Looks so tacky and same time so good. Jonathan Anderson’s versions for Loewe are dreamy.
