Hi All! Will this be my return to blogging? I can’t promise, but I do like the freedom this platform gives for me. If only I had time to execute all my ideas. Speaking of, MIES is doing great and new items are coming (almost) weekly. I get truly fascinated with every item being so modern even after 20 years or more, like these leather pants from Martin Margiela’s first collection for Hermès in 1998, look 25 to be specific. I wouldn’t know where to find anything like this nowadays.

Secondly, I suggest all of you to follow me on instagram for my Artclub launch in the following weeks. I’ve been dreaming of transferring the idea of a book club into art and culture, and gathering a community of likeminded people together to discuss about an exhibition of the month over a glass of wine. Without previous knowledge required and without judgement.

Skirt Hermès by Martin Margiela

Like you all know at this point, I’m a huge fan of Hermès pieces designed by Martin Margiela and this skirt is no exception. Even after 20 years it’s in impeccable condition, and the design still feels very modern. Instead of logos, only the six-hole buttons shaping the thread into an almost invisible “H” revealing the origin, is something I really value as I always prefer my clothing to remain discreet.

Sweater from The Row, pants from Filippa K and shoes from COS

I bought these Filippa K silk pants from their second-hand store in Stockholm few years ago and I’ve been wearing them a lot since then. I love the pyjama feel they bring to the outfit, especially necessary for dark mornings when all you need is comfort.

This is the outfit I’ve been wearing non-stop past month. Only replacing the heels with biker boots. The dress is handmade in Kyrgyzstan by a friend of my friend’s mother. It is extremely comfortable and gives an impression that I gave a serious thought for my outfit in the morning, which never happens. What else you can ask for?

Shirt and sandals from Céline by Phoebe Philo

This shirt dress is already on it’s way to the new owner but I wanted to share this outfit anyway. If I had to wear only one outfit for the rest of my life (I kind of do already) it would be something like this. I love matching shirt dresses with pants, and more than anything – flare pants with flat sandals.

Summer is approaching and I’ll be spending most of it in the city, which I’m quite excited about. Although, we are doing a longer road trip to the Balkans in the end of the summer but that’s another story, I’ll still have two whole months to enjoy Paris before that.

I completed my wardrobe last summer with some great pieces and I can’t wait to wear them (ald also my mom’s old sandals) while wandering around in vintage markets and museums. I swear on white linen and silk during warmer days, as I need to cover my skin completely from the sun.
