Past months I went through my old photos more often than ever before, but I guess I’m not alone. While museums and galleries remain closed, I’m craving culture and writing never ending lists of places to visit post-confinement. This photo has been taken at the Communist Party Headquarters in Paris, a beautiful brutalist architectural gem designed by Oscar Niemeyer.

Meanwhile, I’m collecting all these photos to MIES newsletters. You can subscribe here.

Finally I was able to visit the Communist Party’s headquarters in Paris. It might sound a bit bizarre Saturday activity, but the gorgeous building, designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, has been on my must see -list for a long time. This weekend the whole Europe is celebrating European Heritage Days by opening many important offices and government buildings for public. If you are currently in Paris, I highly suggest to visit this one today.

I started the october moodboard with very edgy and cold shapes but over the weekend it transformed to something completely different. How fast the mind is influenced. In the resent Mastermind magazine there is a great chapter about anonymity including editorial with Margiela archive pieces and an article about the anonymous man himself. The darker the mornings are getting, the more I’m interested in the idea of fast and functional, straight out of bed -wardrobe and -beauty routines, being offline and taking the focus off from myself.
