Raami glasses from Iittala, perfumes from Byredo and Loewe, hand soap from Aesop

The final weeks of 2019 for me went pretty much with hunting for an apartment – and finally changing one – and I couldn’t be happier to be done with all that stress and start the new year (and decade!) in a new home.

When it comes to new years, I don’t believe in resolutions but rather in all year long reflecting and consciousness. However, it is still a good moment to stop and look back, think about where you are in life and whether you are going in the right direction. 2019 was pretty good to me, obviously there were many moments of mental blur and clutter as usually in life, but in general I felt stronger than ever in my body, started some interesting projects and enjoyed Paris to the most. All what I wish to take with me to the new decade.

Happy new year.

Paris Fashion Week has always been my favorite and it didn’t let me down this time either (if we don’t mention the Céline horror, which I’m too tired to even talk about anymore..) Jonathan Anderson really divides opinions, but everything he does really fascinates me and it’s amazing how he was able to re-brand Loewe in a way that it really makes sense with the heritage with leather and Spanish roots. Also I love how he is inspired by the careless and cool vibe of Ibiza is able to transform it into something so appealing.

Jonathan Anderson’s newest collection for Loewe was again very strong, including some dreamy leather pieces, such as the bra dress above. I adore how he is respecting the brand codes of Loewe and he obviously know who is the customer, but you can still see his playful vision in the designs.

Trendspotting furry and fluffy cuffs and collars for the next autumn. Looks so tacky and same time so good. Jonathan Anderson’s versions for Loewe are dreamy.

I always tell people I’m not a perfume person, when in reality I’m just too lazy to search for the one. However lately I’ve been very into trying on unisex perfumes and mixing scents. I have to admid the Loewe perfume sample kit is actually my second one already.. It includes one sample for women and one for men which together are a perfect mix.

Here’s my phone storage gems from this week;

-Céline finally joined Instagram and it is as good as I imagined it would be.

-I came accross to an article about Calvin Klein’s mansion in Miami, that he just sold. Also, as good as you could imagine it would be.

-Best thing since Nicolas Ghesquiére re-created Balenciaga’s space hat in 2008; Loewe’s breadloaf hat from AW17 collection.

-A sketch of Fondation Louis Vuitton by Frank Gehry
