Trendspotting lots of plumage details at SS2020 and Haute Couture AW2019 collections, which made me research some of my old favorites from the archives. Also there are plenty from Ann Demeulemeester, which I left out from the photos.

Another Pre-Fall 2019 lookbook that is very aesthetically pleasing. Givenchy with the lead of Clare Waight Keller has been so far very interesting, although this collection is, as usually the pre-collections are, highly commercial. But everything is forgiven, when the location is my favorite architectural spot in Paris, Maison La Roche, and the looks have been put together by Suzanne Koller. Also I’m trendspotting some half and half color blocking as seen above and at Calvin Klein 205W39NYC.

At first Clare Waight Keller at Givenchy sounded a bizarre combination, however I must admit I was too fast to judge. The latest resort look book is a perfect fresh mix of archives, Waight Keller’s style and the codes Riccardo Tisci invented for the fashion house.

Givenchy pre-fall 2016 shot by Max von Gumppenberg and Patrick Bienert,  styled by Katy England. Art director Riccardo Tisci

Other designer who enjoys the urban view is Riccardo Tisci. Spring/Summer 2016 show was held and campaign shot in NYC, and the most resent, Pre-Fall 2016 lookbook is shot in Berlin. I’m always admiring contrasts and have to say I love the Volgswagen behind.

Also did some research about the photographers. Max von Gumppenberg has been assisting Mario Testino and Steven Klein and teamed up with Patrick Bienert in 2007. Their portfolio is not that long yet but definately worth checking out. And their website gave me chills, so minimalistic!
