Stella McCartney for Chloé
A while back I visited Maison Chloé for their Guy Bourdin exhibition, which I have to say was really bad. And don’t take me wrong, I adore Guy Bourdin and Chloé used to be one of my favourite brands, it is just wrong to claim that they have something in common. However, I’m always excited to see some archive pieces. Above the iconic horse dresses from the era when Stella McCartney was the creative director.
At Maison Chloé earlier this week.
Ed van der Elsken – Love on the left bank
PARIS TIPS – First year of university I was doing a visual research about Chloé. As Gaby Aghion was very inspired by those cool kids of left bank in Paris, I came accross to some of Ed van der Elsken’s photographs. My teacher advised me to search his book Love on the left bank which took me almost a year to find (ok I wasn’t looking too hard), until one day I stopped by at Book Marc searching something completely else, but oh the excitement when I saw the book!
So you can imagine my excitement when yesterday I was doing a list of must see current- and upcoming exhibitions. In my favourite museum in Paris, Jeu de Paume, there’s going to be Ed van der Elsken exhibition starting in June 13th. I migh have to see it twice.
Usually I’m not jewelry person, but the pieces I own have a lot of meaning behind. And I don’t mind when my meaningful jewelry look like this. And for the perfume, I’m still not sure if I like it or not, I’m not a perfume person either. But still I carry these with me daily. Eau de Perfume from Chloé, Bracelet Louis Vuitton.

Next summer Chloé girls are dating French firemen and borrowing their tracksuits to make a fashion statement. Otherwise SS2016 show was just basic Chloé as we know it. Not too big fan of this collection.
