There is a small, but very intriguing Ellsworth Kelly -exhibition ongoing at Centre Pompidou definitely worth visiting. It gathers for the first time all Kelly’s window studies together along with photography, which brings so much depth into his works.

David Hockney – Pink Hose, May 1974

Céline Pre-Fall 2017

I finally went to see the David Hockney retrospective today at Pompidou and I was really impressed by some of his works I’ve never seen before, especially video installations. Anyway, the Pink Hose photograph instantly reminded me of this Céline lookbook image. It’s not even the first time I’m juxtapositioning David Hockney and Céline.

Since I received couple emails regarding my recommendations for a short trip to Paris (how exciting!) , I decided to create a small guide of all my favourites which will be ready soon. Meanwhile, if I had only one evening, I would spend it at Pompidou’s modern art collection at the 5th floor, which also gives you a great view over Paris.

David Hockney – John St Clair Swimming, April 1972

This weekend we are planning to find a swimming pool in Paris and I’m planning to wear nothing else but my best jewellery. Another great way to tackle the heat in Paris is recently opened David Hockney exhibition in Centre Pompidou.
