Giedre Dukauskaite at Givenchy Haute Couture AW2019

Trendspotting lots of plumage details at SS2020 and Haute Couture AW2019 collections, which made me research some of my old favorites from the archives. Also there are plenty from Ann Demeulemeester, which I left out from the photos.

Gierde Dukauskaite in Lacoste / @suzannekoller

Lacoste got a new look with the new creative director, Louise Trotter, who left her previous post at Joseph to give a facelift for the dusty tennis brand. Such a good facelift indeed. I loved the use of the iconic crocodile and how Louise brought her own vision and merged it perfectly with the sportyness of the brand. And the show was styled by Suzanne Koller, who brought all her favorite models with her such as Maggie Mauer and Gierde Dukauskaite, wow!

Jil Sander AW2019 / voguerunway.com

What started from the sock boots -trend, have evolved now to something very desirable, and something that I don’t know how to call them anymore. Lightweight flat shoes that resembles a lot like socks, like we saw also at The Row and also at Jil Sander. Needles to say I have my eyes on both.

I love discovering new brands, but nothing beats having my favorite ones. For the ones I’m always extremely excited to see the new collections, as I can always trust that they will fulfill my inspiration folders for the many seasons ahead, but also that nothing is changing too much. As there was nothing too new at Jil Sander, and that’s why I loved it.

Bottega Veneta AW2019 / voguerunway.com

During Milan fashion week, Bottega Veneta had their runway debut under Daniel Lee and it was probably the most anticipated collection of the season. The fashion house had already started some strong rebranding buy launching their new IT bag and revealing the new minimal approach with the SS19 campaign.

When it comes to the AW2019 collection, it was definitely something innovative and interesting. I love how Lee works with leather and uses the brand’s heritage and signatures, but still showing something completely new.

I absolutely adored the most recent Lemaire collection, and the casting! Above my favorite look that opened the show; perfectly fitting trousers on the focus.

The Row AW2019 / @nikoturko

We might have to wait for couple days for the official show pictures of The Row’s latest collection, but I couldn’t wait to share one sneak peek I found through Instagram. The set with Jean Prouvés aluminum and metal sun shutters already made me die and took me into mid-century modern -heaven, but also the collection will be something that sticks in my inspiration folders (and partly in my wardrobe) forever.
