Rejina Pyo will probably be one of the brands taking some of the Céline clients once Hedi Slimane takes the lead. Past few seasons stylist Alex Carl has worked on her magic, and Rejina Pyo’s show have became one of LFW highlights. The clothes are minimal with voluminous cuts and subtle details, where the accessories are more experimental. Still, nothing is too much. I had a chance to visit the brand’s showroom in Paris to view the new collection, which left me dreaming about snake accessories.

Khaite’s AW2018 lookbook provided some instant inspiration for the last cold days at Paris. But the real reason why I saved few photos on my desktop is the backdrops that reminds me about the apartments in Finland. Very modest, which is something I’ve been missing lately.

Jacquemus AW2018

There’s no doubt Jacquemus was one of my favorite shows of AW2018. Simon is like the sunshine of fashion world, and he is able to transform his energy and inspiration into stunning collections, that even makes me – who rather chooses masculine suits and sneakers – to dream about high slits and heels. Simon also announced he will launch a menswear line, which obviously I can’t wait.

Joseph skipped a show for AW18 collection, as the brand is currently thinking about whether to locate in Paris, or continue in London. They published a lookbook instead, which was shot in a tabac nearby my apartment. The oversized trench combined to statement earrings -look really speaks to me currently.

During men’s fashion weeks I was a bit out of focus and buried with work and none of the collections seemed to excite me. For more in times like we are living now, following constantly changing trends and new collections seems shameful. So if I had to pick one favorite, it is not a surprise that I go for classics.

After a quick visit of Justin O’Shea, Brioni is back to what it is, and this intelligently beautiful look book celebrates men as they are.
